About This Program
Travel with a curated cohort, experience the country from different perspectives and have dedicated time to exchange ideas, learn and create.
The goal is not to tell you what to talk about. It is to give you deep community, new experiences, tools, and conversations that strengthen your voice as a creator—and help you explore how Judaism and Israel can become part of what you create in a way that feels authentic to you and your platform.
What to expect
Over the 9 days, you will travel across Israel alongside a curated community of creators.
The program is built around three pillars: experiences across Israel, platform growth and dedicated time to create and collaborate.
Learn from experts in storytelling, AI, and audience growth; meet Israeli creators and test new formats and ideas. You will create content inspired by what you are experiencing alongside peers from around the world.
The journey does not end when you leave Israel. Alumni are eligible to apply for the Creator Fund, a competitive grant supporting original campaigns and content series that bring Jewish and Israeli stories into broader cultural conversations on social media.
Who Is Creator Journey For?
We are looking for Jewish creators who are actively building an online audience and want to grow their platforms while finding authentic ways to bring Jewish identity and Israel into their work.
As a general guideline, applicants should have 7K+ followers on Instagram or TikTok, or an established audience on platforms such as YouTube, Substack, Snapchat, or X.
Exceptions will be considered for creators who demonstrate consistency, strong growth, a distinctive voice, and a genuine commitment to creating content.
Program Cost
Program Cost: $252
There will be a group flight option, which is fully covered. You are responsible for the costs associated with getting yourself to the group flight departure city.
Participants are responsible for phone coverage and discretionary spending while in Israel. Please see the Birthright Israel Onward FAQ for additional program details.
International participants that are not taking the Birthright Israel Onward organized flight are encouraged to purchase flights with a good refund policy or flight insurance. Birthright Israel Onward is not responsible for flight costs should the program be cancelled.
Participants will receive their expected accommodation address approximately two weeks before the program begins.
Eligibility
- Ages 18–35
- Identify as Jewish
- Fluent in English
- Available for the full duration of the program
- Valid passport (6+ months post-program)
- Alumni of Birthright Israel Onward are not eligible (Classic Birthright or Volunteer trip alumni are welcome)
