About This Program

Discover the best of Israel through a unique 4-week program that blends volunteering, travel, and remote work. Give back to local communities weekly by volunteering and explore Israel’s most iconic sites, while dedicating the rest of your week to your professional work or study . This program is a remote work\study program designed for those who want to experience the richness of Israeli culture, contribute to meaningful local causes, and maintain their work-life balance - all in one unforgettable journey.

What to expect

Each Sunday, you will explore new sites around Israel and volunteer in local Israeli communities. During the week, you will be provided with a comfortable coworking space to focus on your remote work. In your free time, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant city life in Tel Aviv and embrace the warmth of Israeli society. If you like to travel and volunteer but want to maintain your professional life, this is the program for you!

Program cost

$750

The program fee includes housing in Tel Aviv (likely a single bedroom in a shared apartment or hotel), access to a co-working space, weekly tours and seminars in Israel, educational programming, Shabbat programming, basic medical insurance, and ground transportation within Tel Aviv. Participants will be required to submit a $375 participation & security deposit. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the program based on good standing.

All participants are responsible for the cost of and arrangement of their own air fare in addition to food during the program. Participants should not purchase air fare until approximately a month before the program start date, after participants have been informed that the program has been confirmed and will proceed on the scheduled dates.  We recommend that your airfare includes a flexible refund policy and/or good travel insurance.

The actual cost of this Remote work  program is significantly more expensive than the program fee to be paid by the participant. The program subsidy is made possible by generous supporters of Birthright Israel Onward.
