Sample Internshps

Law:

The legal field in Israel relevant for interns primarily includes major Israeli law firms such as Pearl Cohen and Shibolet & Co., as well as firms with specialized departments in immigration law (e.g., Kan-Tor & Acco), real estate (e.g., Daon Group), international tax (e.g., Nimrod Yaron), and ESG consulting (e.g., Shibolet ESG and Good Vision – Fahn Kanne Grant Thornton Group).

Another internship option involves legal research with professors from top Israeli universities, such as Tel Aviv University, in fields like international law, political science, and related areas.

Interns should understand that their tasks may include legal marketing, proofreading English materials, conducting research, and finding relevant precedent cases.

Finance:
The finance industry in Israel for internships can be grouped into traditional finance—which includes banking (e.g., LeumiTech), investment banking (e.g., Everest), consulting (e.g., Deloitte), and accounting (e.g., FKGB)—as well as venture capital (e.g., iAngels) and fintech. Fintech internships involve finance-related startups, such as those developing payment systems or asset management solutions (e.g., Melio, Crowded, Jika.IO).

Typical intern tasks across these areas include market research, data analysis, industry research, and data organization. Candidates should be comfortable with this type of work. Business development roles can also be relevant for finance interns, involving tasks like business planning, competitor research, and identifying tech platforms.

Many finance participants aspire to consulting roles, though these often require prior experience or notable achievements.
