About This Program
The TALMA Summer Fellowship is a 4-week co-teaching, professional development, and social experience for English-speaking educators of all grades and subjects. You'll co-teach English in under-resourced schools alongside a local teacher, engage in pedagogy and leadership workshops, experience tours, deepen your connections to Israel, and widen your social network.
What to excpect
The first week of the program we’ll be together for orientation, where you’ll learn more about different facets of Israeli society, and prepare to co-teach English in an Israeli classroom. We’ll end with a community shabbaton, and then teachers will head to their living locations for the summer, where you’ll co-teach English 5 days a week for three weeks, and have opportunities to explore the city and engage in fun social events in the afternoons and weekends. We’ll come back together for our final shabbaton, where we’ll reflect on the incredible impact you’ll have made and felt in just one month.
