About This Program
What to expect
On the Meor Men program, you’ll join other Jewish men for a summer focused on personal, spiritual, and professional development. You’ll work side-by-side with Israelis, forming authentic relationships with locals and gaining invaluable work experience in your chosen field. Immerse yourself in contemporary Israeli society by working alongside Israeli peers and exploring Israel’s amazing restaurants, cultural activities, and nightlife in your free time.
In addition to the professional internship experience you will enjoy, Meor Men offers participants the opportunity to connect with their Jewish roots through group discussions, experiential and frontal learning. You’ll begin your journey in Israel with a week of workshops, tours, and sessions focused on Jewish identity, antisemitism and more. Following this immersive start, you’ll intern daily, with evening group sessions and trips to further strengthen bonds within your cohort
The program is run by Torah-observant staff and includes learning sessions based on traditional texts and wisdom.
