About This Program
What to expect
Throughout the program, you will:
Learn Hebrew through an Ulpan course: Our Ulpan course provides a dynamic environment for learning Hebrew for those who want to learn hebrew in a unique, authentic environment. This immersive language experience will help you connect with locals and enhance your time in Israel. The level of this course is beginner.
Volunteer on the Kibbutz: Roll up your sleeves and take part in a variety of volunteer projects that help maintain the kibbutz community. This hands-on involvement will give you insight into the cooperative and communal lifestyle that kibbutzim are known for.
Connect with peers and build lasting friendships: Living in a group setting with fellow participants, you’ll form new bonds, share experiences, and create memories with people from diverse backgrounds.
Immerse yourself in Israeli culture: In addition to language and volunteering, you’ll experience the unique atmosphere of the kibbutz lifestyle, from shared meals to communal activities, giving you an authentic taste of Israeli life.
This program is designed for those who want to experience.
Program Cost
$499
The program fee includes dorm style housing in Mishmar HaSharon kibbutz, in triple rooms, access to a co-working space, weekly tours and seminars in Israel, educational programming, Shabbat programming, basic medical insurance, and ground transportation around Mishmar HaSharon kibbutz. Participants will also be required to submit a $400 participation & security deposit. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the program based on good standing.
All participants are responsible for the cost of and arrangement of their own air fare in addition to partial food costs during the program. Participants should not purchase air fare until approximately a month before the program start date, after participants have been informed that the program has been confirmed and will proceed on the scheduled dates.
